Fascination with ghosts is universal.  It's interesting to note that tales of ghosts or souls of the disembodied are prevalent in virtually all cultures and systems of belief.  Even those who profess to have no belief in the supernatural would more than likely admit they have at least pondered the possibilities of what lies beyond our world.  The thought that a disembodied soul roams about, trapped between our world and the next, unable to rest is a thought provoking notion to say the least.  Herein you will find a gallery of ghosts concocted purely from imagination.  They are THE LONELY ONES and they each have a unique story to tell.  Click on the portraits to find out more about them.  You will also find a short story I penned called THE HAUNTED HOUSE.  Turn out the lights and enjoy!

The carnival midway has a long and sordid past.  It’s hard to imagine in this day and age that human beings who were born with physical deformities were exploited for the sake of entertainment. But by most accounts many of these so-called freaks and geeks of the midway enjoyed their fame; preferring to work and entertain rather than suffer a worse fate of living out there lives in a hospital or asylum.  And from the folklore of Haiti comes the living dead, more commonly known by the term ghoul or zombie. This hideous creature feasts on the flesh of the living but owes its popularity among monster movie fans to the work of George Romero and Lucio Fulci!
